PLEASE NOTE:This is a members only session,

For this session we hire the Nene White Water centre for 2 hours, to allow you to practice your moving water skills.
The cost includes access to the water, coaching and use of club equipment, as well as use of the changing rooms & hot showers.

This is a coached session where you will be split into groups depending on ability where you are able to learn the skills needed for real rivers and to just have fun. You must be competent to capsize with a spray deck.

It’s an ideal opportunity for anyone new to moving water or who wants to build their experience and confidence.

It’s NOT just for kayaks, you can develop your open canoe skills too and it’s not necessary to run the whole course, each stage can be used to build up progress.

Please arrive by 18:30 in order to get boats and equipment sorted out and be on the water for 19:00.

The club does have some secondhand wetsuits and windproof tops, in a random assortment of sizes. If you can arrange your own it would be better.
